October 2012 Awards

October, like every month this year, just whizzed right by us. While some characters had a chance to catch their collective breaths, we still had a wonderfully diverse and entertaining month on the simm. We actually has several nominations for Post Of The Month and I left it to Scott to pick. This month also saw a wonderful backstory set of posts that I've re-read several times. As always, congratulations one and all and keep the stories coming!


Post Of The Month

"Fall On Me" (Seyla, Suresh, and Lt. Michael Darwin)

This post turned out to be pivotal in the storyline when a seemingly innocent question from Suresh led to a discovery that would affect the station at the highest levels. A good example of how actions by even those in the lowest level of station society can have far-reaching consequences.

'The Happy Mr. & Mrs. Banning' - Jackson Banning V & Lt. Commander Oralia Zeferino

It's been a long time coming but after almost two years, The question was finally popped, and a yes given, proving that patience (and bull-headed determination) is a virtue.

Drama Award

Dario (Lt. Commander Patrick Leroy & Eldren Tor) for 'Kaela' and 'Preparing The Ground'

These backstory posts were haunting and drew us in from the start. The emotion and intrigue were, in a word, beautiful. Well done!
