Updated Awards Section

Good afternoon, all! I'm happy to announce that we have expanded the awards section to include more options when it comes award time (which is coming soon!). The list is as follows:
- Seven more Mission Completion ribbons, now up to twelve.
- Five more Dedicated Service ribbons, now up to ten (that's years, folks!)
- Whose Line Is It Anyway award. OOC for the character delivering some of the best one-liners, or most memorable lines.
- Departmental Service Ribbon - Command. Awarded for exceptional writing of a character in the command department, including: Command, Strategic Operations, Flight Operations, Temporal Affairs, JAG and Communications.
- Departmental Service Ribbon - Science. Awarded for exceptional writing of a character in the sciences departments, including: Science, Medical, and Counseling.
- Departmental Service Ribbon - Service. Awarded for exceptional writing of a character in the services departments, including: Operations, Security/Tactical, Intelligence, Diplomatic, Marines and Engineering.
- SFMC Distinguished Service Cross - IC. Presented to any marine who has shown the qualities, skills, compassion, loyalty and dedication to duty that has become expected of the United Federation Starfleet Marine.
- Semper Fi Ribbon - IC. Awarded for general marine excellence. This can also be awarded for showing deep technical knowledge in marine combat. The required excellence, while of a lesser degree than that required for award of the SFMC Distinguished Service ribbon, must nevertheless have been performed with marked distinction.
- SFMC Achievement Ribbon - IC. Awarded to both enlisted and commissioned marines who perform above and beyond the call of duty.
- SFMC Commendation Ribbon - IC. Awarded to both enlisted and commissioned marines who show a high degree of dedication to their duties.
- SFMC Air Combat Ribbon - IC. Awarded for exemplary service while piloting a fighter craft in direct combat operations in support of Starfleet or SFMC personnel.
- SFMC Excellence - IC. Awarded to marines that go above and beyond their Corps training to become cross-trained in Fleet operations, such as: starship command operations, Starfleet Intelligence, combat medic, engineering specialties or operations specialties.
That gives us quite a few awards that can be doled out to those deemed worthy. And since this is the 25th, the monthly awards will be coming out soon so please take the time to go back through this month's posts and nominate those you feel should be rewarded for their hard work on Starbase 900. The last day to submit a nomination is at midnight EST on July 31st.
Also, if you have any recommendations for an award that would be beneficial to the game, please submit that to either myself or Peach for consideration.
