Time really flew by fast for March, but Scott and I have come up with the awards list and here it is!

Post Of The Month
Burning Down The House - Lt. Leto, Lt. Nick Marcinko
Oz Has The Last Word - Commander Oralia Zeferino, Suresh

For March, we narrowed it down to two posts and then neither of us could decide which as both were excellent, dramatic posts that have had lasting repercussions for all involved. For Nick and Leto, it has led to some difficult times that have them in uncertain and uncharted territory. For Oz, she finally did have the last word and the satisfaction of locking away a man who has been a constant source of danger for her and those she holds dear. Sometimes, however, what seems to be an end is only a beginning...

Drama Award

Nightmares Don’t Always Require Sleep - Lt. Commander Kh’ali, Lt. Commander Patrick Leroy

That old saying that ‘it’s just a nightmare, it can’t hurt you’ isn’t always true, as Kh’ali discovered. While sightings have popped up all over SB900, hers turned out to be her worst nightmare - an assassin who not only attempted to kill the Divitian Speaker Zee’Hrai, but phased her out of the current timeline and left her to die many months ago before being killed himself. His reappearance and his ability to physically harm her added a chilling aspect to these sightings and what once seemed little more than a weird annoyance now has turned to a dangerous one.

Character Development

This month’s award will be given to three characters. The first two, Suresh and Seyla, have storylines that intertwine quite often. The emotional interaction is highly prevalent but it seems that there is always a hint of “it’s just business” from Seyla’s point of view. However, once Suresh went missing, Seyla seemed to put on her big girl panties and grow quite a bit in his absence. Even now, with his return, things aren’t the same as they were. She knows that he will be going away for a long time and has seemingly changed her business skills to suit a station without Suresh. He, on the other hand, seems to have lost his super-villain persona--just a touch, and has been worn down by his love for Captain Hawke, realizing that he doesn’t think he can go on without her and not really focusing at all on his former business dealings.

The third character for the CD award is the station’s Chief Shrink, Robin Swift. Since being thrust into the intel world, so to speak, in his hypnosis of Leto, he’s become quite involved in the fallout that’s occurred between she and Nick. Marcinko has always been one tough nut and has avoided counseling, of any type, like the plague. But in his one moment of need, Robin rose to the occasion to provide the assistance that may have helped Nick on the road to recovery. He stood up to the man and even slapped the piss out of him! (figuratively, of course). He’s shown to us all that he’s much more than the normally soft-spoken and docile healer of minds that’s been written in the past. He can be fierce when he needs to be and isn’t afraid to make that stand, especially when it involves his patient’s welfare.

Mission Completion Awards
We’ll have to re-submit all of the mission awards because it seems that we skipped some. These are only given to the primary character of each user as I don’t even want to try and wrap my head around which particular characters have been with us for each mission, since we have so many NPCs that come and go. The list is as follows:

Scott
1st mission - The Ties That Bind
2nd mission - In Our Time of Need
3rd mission - Sections of the Delta Quadrant
4th mission - The Struggle Within

Peach
1st mission - The Ties That Bind
2nd mission - In Our Time of Need
3rd mission - Sections of the Delta Quadrant
4th mission - The Struggle Within

Andrew
1st mission - The Ties That Bind
2nd mission - In Our Time of Need
3rd mission - Sections of the Delta Quadrant
4th mission - The Struggle Within

Tracy
1st mission - The Ties That Bind
2nd mission - In Our Time of Need
3rd mission - Sections of the Delta Quadrant
4th mission - The Struggle Within

Dario
1st mission - The Ties That Bind

3rd mission - Sections of the Delta Quadrant
4th mission - The Struggle Within

Andy
1st mission - In Our Time of Need
2nd mission - Section of the Delta Quadrant
3rd mission - The Struggle Within

If you are not listed above, it means that you were not yet with us for a full mission. Once you have completed your first mission you will be given the award that corresponds with the number that you have completed.

Congratulations one and all for a month well done. As always, the stories never fail to intrigue and entangle us, to delight and dismay, to amuse and enamor and in the end, leave us on the edge of our seats. That's what great writing is all about!
