[[Round Table]] race near the [[Solaria Nebula]] that successfully established friendly relations with the Federation following an uneventful first contact by the U.S.S. ''Excelsior'' on the outlying world of Z'eldagar VI. The Vren'tal are governed by a board of “archregents,” which functions similarly to a parliamentary democracy, but is more autocratic than normal for democratic governments.  


The Vren'tal government is a leading candidate to become the first formal Federation ally in the Round Table.
