For The Door That Would Not Open.
Leroy's attempts at finding a way to help Rick and Li get back to their own reality winds up bringing a woman that Leroy's alternate version is obviously in a relationship with and in a BIG way. Little Faye running to him saying "Daddy!" was absolutely wonderful! |

Congrats to all involved in that great post! It really showed the shock and a bit of confusion to the involved characters in a situation where your base CO, XO and a criminal just vanished from said CO's office. |

December’s Drama Award is given to Lt. Cmdr. Kh’ali and Lt. Cmdr. Leroy for their posts relating to the strain on their relationship due to the alternate universe Aleksandra and Faye coming through the rift. The whole situation is deeply emotional for Kh’ali and Patrick, not to mention how AU Aleksandra and Faye are dealing with it. The posts are well written and give us some real insights into the personal lives of both Kh’ali and Patrick that we don’t normally get to see in duty posts. Great job!

Sims are nothing without great plots and 900 has a wealth of great plotters. This month, we'd like to recognize Dario. He has an amazing wealth of technical information all stashed in his head and a seemingly unending ability to come up with plot twists that cab even surprise us! No matter what storyline is running, he always manages to add just the things to round it out, add to it, and make it even better. Well done! |

Difference Of Opinion - LTCR Patrick Leroy, LTCR Kh'ali
In this post, Patrick and Kh'ali come face to face with the stresses of a relationship in the face of danger in the line of duty. What happens when one is willing to volunteer for a hazardous mission and the other wants to protect them? It results in a a serious difference of opinion and the willingness to compromise to reach an agreement that is acceptable to both, despite personal cost. For Patrick and Kh'ali, he was willing to compromise, and she only wanted to know that he say her point of view. In the end, a surprise life-changing development altered the decision for both of them.

This month's Plot Development Award goes out to Dario. He introduced us to the alternate universe twist and his character, Lt. Cmdr. Leroy played a pivotal role in the retrieval of our people in the AU. While many others were important in this particular plot I believe that Dario's writing of Leroy gave as much as anyone else.
Congratulations! |

Nightmares Don’t Always Require Sleep - Lt. Commander Kh’ali, Lt. Commander Patrick Leroy
That old saying that ‘it’s just a nightmare, it can’t hurt you’ isn’t always true, as Kh’ali discovered. While sightings have popped up all over SB900, hers turned out to be her worst nightmare - an assassin who not only attempted to kill the Divitian Speaker Zee’Hrai, but phased her out of the current timeline and left her to die many months ago before being killed himself. His reappearance and his ability to physically harm her added a chilling aspect to these sightings and what once seemed little more than a weird annoyance now has turned to a dangerous one. |

"Of Honor And Tradition" in "Breaking New Ground" was a really great example of a rare post that actually feels like it could of been part of a Next Generation-era episode, and is even broken down the way that such a storyline would have been filmed, hence the nomination here for the out of character post of the month award. |

August Award:
This is really for Tess Rutheridge, for giving a glimpse of what Commander Leroy's subjects are thinking of him... ;-)
“For I know many things of Commander Leroy and, albeit he’s somewhat changed from his trip to Ialnalyn region, there is one thing about him I’m still fairly sure of. You don’t mess with the uniform. It’s Starfleet. It’s woven in ideals… Damn... I think the man was born with that uniform, grafted to his skin the very first day of his life.”

Plot Development - OOC: Qo’nos storyline
This month saw two wonderful and complex storylines launch that have made us laugh, scared us, sometimes horrified us, and always kept us wanting more. To Dario for the Qo’nos storyline - who one day messaged me and said “You know, I’ve been thinking that Kh’ali’s life is too easy.” The rest, as they say, is history. |

For "A Matter Of Honor" post (and the whole thread before that). Leading to a climactic conclusion to an old family strife, Klingon-style. A piece of action as wasn't seen in a while. |
