This character has had to overcome some major issues recently and, in the current setting, has had to both rise to the occasion and deal with the possible loss of a loved one. But the whole time he has shown that even a stoic, green-blooded Vulcan can have compassion and is made up of many more complex emotions than they will show on the outside. Most notable were the posts "Proxies" and "Understanding Condolences". |

For "RED ALERT" posted on Monday, November 5th, 2012 by the following personnel: Ensign Kai Sarkozi, Commander Sakkath, Lt. Commander Oralia Zeferino, Lt. Commander Patrick Leroy, Lieutenant Hope Beckman
Congrats to all involved in that great post! It really showed the shock and a bit of confusion to the involved characters in a situation where your base CO, XO and a criminal just vanished from said CO's office. |

Medal of the Rose - OOC
Awarded Sat Dec 1st, 2012 @ 7:32pm
Nominated by Admiral Ricky Wegener
|
This award is given for the most interesting portrayal of a couple over time. Li and Sakkath had an unexpected beginning that drew them together. While appearing to be the ideal couple, Li's past would eventually cause havoc between them. Now that the past has been laid to rest, they have begin the process of re-connecting and rebuilding trust, losing fear, and getting back to the joining that is uniquely theirs. **Originally given on Sun Aug 5th, 2012, nominated by VADM Wegener** |

Post Of The Month - OOC
Awarded Tue Jan 1st, 2013 @ 6:21pm
Nominated by Captain Li Hawke
|
O Brother Who Are Thou? written by CMDR Hawke (also for Nahi Hawke), VADM Wegener, CMDR Sakkath and LCDR Zeferino (for Lt. Darwin). This particular post reveals the existence of someone from our Li’s past who is currently alive in the alternate universe--her brother, Nahi. However, not only is he alive in the AU, he is also a collaborator with the Archadians in the attack on AU SB900. His existence is also quite a surprise to Wegener who is very close to the Hawke family, so much so that the Admiral literally stands in shock in the middle of a firefight as the realization hits him, along with a phaser beam from Nahi’s weapon. Our intrepid Lt. Darwin also has his hands full having to deal with Wegener’s cavalier attitude toward the search and in the battle. Not only is Darwin a senior security officer with quite a bit of experience, he winds up a frustrated flag officer babysitter, trying not to get himself killed while trying to keep Wegener from doing the same. Once Nahi is captured and taken to see Li and Sakkath, his being alive and the fact that he is a traitor responsible for numerous deaths on 900, including AU Li Hawke’s--his own sister!, hits everyone like a ton of bricks along with his seemingly uncaring attitude. This entire post is one big reveal after reveal after reveal and was well written by all involved. |

Service Accommodation Ribbon - OOC
Awarded Tue Feb 5th, 2013 @ 8:07pm
Nominated by Admiral Ricky Wegener
|
We finally have a Service Accommodation award! And this month it goes to Andrew, writing Sakkath, and Tracy, writing Oz. Sure, if you look on the Chain of Command link on the roster page you'll see that both CMDR Sakkath and LCDR Zeferino are pretty high up there, but what characters, or what writers, ever imagine that both the CO and the XO will just suddenly disappear, leaving everything to the second officer and the next in line? The characters, and their writers, took it in stride while one dealt with the fact that his wife was one of the missing and the other still reeling from the loss of her brother. They both went above and beyond the normal duties and have done excellent work keeping the station running (IC) and writing exciting posts (OOC). Congratulations to Andrew and Tracy! |

The Humanitarian Service Medal is awarded to Commander Sakkath for his involvement in lifesaving efforts of Cadet Chance Conradi. Without the Commander's inherent special skills the life of Cadet Conradi would have been lost. Despite the critical missions going on around the Commander at the time, he trusted his staff and crew to tend to those items while he took time out of his busy schedule to help resurrect the Cadet. |

Nominated by Admiral Ricky Wegener

The homecoming of the quartet sent to retrieve evil Suresh after his escape from Elba II was a great end to an amazing story. Not only did we actually manage a somewhat-happy ending, albeit marred with some scrapes and incarcerations, we got to see some very happy reunions in the docking bay. Oh, and the one not-so-happy reunion of Lazan with noveau-Suresh and Darwin. |

Nominated by Captain Li Hawke

Post: The Order Of Operations
Choosing Post of the Month is always difficult with this crew, since just about everything you all write is POM worthy. Sometimes a post will grab us with its excitement, sometimes it is the mystery or the intrigue, and sometimes it just grabs your attention and keeps it in the post’s own quiet way. This month’s winner was just such a post. In The Order Of Operations we see a brief window of time with Sakkath and Norval reflecting on the current state of things in the aftermath of some crew attacks that were certainly personal. It was a rare moment of emotion when we see Sakkath say, essentially, ‘we’re mad as hell and we’re not gonna take it anymore’. Congratulations! |

Whose Line Is It Anyway? - OOC
Awarded Wed Oct 7th, 2015 @ 1:36am
Nominated by Captain Li Hawke
|
Reason: For "A Little Blue Blast" - the writing in this log is simply stunning, particularly this paragraph:
All seemed fairly mundane (a rare, but welcome occurrence) until Sakkath made his way to the decision not to prosecute Lieutenant Sukotav and his subsequent release from the brig. The Vulcan’s first thought was of Suresh, and what the operation below might now require of him. Retaliation was certainly going to be expected, the Vulcan knew, but his responsibility for the crew drove his next thoughts to Riley himself. Following his abduction, the issues with Ensign Madhava, and now his faultless attempt on Ensign Six’s life, Sakkath had to wonder just what sort of island the Betazoid Lieutenant felt marooned on.
