"Don't ever walk away from me again, Six. Don't ever do that again." They were in the back room of Saturnalia. She'd insisted they come back here before Suresh blew up in public. He grabbed her arm, holding it tight. "He implied that you and he.....and when he touched you, you moaned!"

"He does this thing....I couldn't help it!"

"You didn’t seem to mind when he was touching you. I don't want him touching you...."

Fear choked Six as she looked up into Suresh's eyes. The rage there terrified her and she wanted to run away. "Don't....please..."

"I could make you scream...."

The scene shifted and she was in his quarters, the scent of an unfamiliar perfume in the air. She could hear a voice and now saw a woman sitting on top of Suresh in their bed. Naked. He was naked. She heard a scream and realized it was her own. The woman laughed and Suresh leaped from the bed. She could see lipstick in a place no one but Six should have been.

“This isn’t what it looks like, Six! I have no idea how we ended up here!” Six ran for the front door even as Suresh's hand tightened around her ankle. "Let me go." She broke free and then she was running down a corridor that seemed to have no end.

Suddenly, Niro stepped into view and caught her. "Six, stop! "

She was crying as she fought against Niro. "I have to go. That woman...."

"They don't matter," Niro whispered. He rested his hand against the side of her neck and a wave of pleasure crashed through her. "It's alright. Everything's alright."

She closed her eyes and moaned aloud. Her brain was too overcome to allow her to form coherent words. "Niro...."

"You were on my ship, in my quarters...you’d come to be with me. It was rather exhilarating." He raised her hand to his lips. “I've come to take you away from Suresh. We've made plans to go away, remember? He doesn't deserve you. He cares nothing for you as you have seen. Remember the woman, Six. He did that to you....he doesn't matter now...follow me. Show me what you can do."

He leaned down to kiss her and darkness fell.

Niro lay awake in the lower bunk, listening to a very restless Six just above him. It had only been a few minutes since he'd lifted her to the upper bunk but he knew she was running out of energy. Now she was dreaming. Reaching out, he slipped into her thoughts, into her dream, watching. What he saw there made him smile. He had been right - his mental rearranging had taken hold of Six with a vengeance.

"Suresh..no..." she whispered. "Please....let me go..."

Her murmured words made him smile. Things were going very well indeed. Another few hours and everything would fall into place, time he would have since Julisa was captured and Darwin was in recovery. He'd have Six and Suresh would lose her. The perfect revenge in his book. Six had cost him both Reva and Falasin and now, she would repay that debt. What ran in her veins would make them all very rich and he'd have her for his own enjoyment as long as he pleased. If he was honest, there was more to this than just revenge. He wanted her in spite of everything that had happened. All they had to do was get back to their own place and time. A sob came from the upper bunk and jarred him out of his thoughts. He rose quickly and reached out, taking Six's hand and raising it to his lips. She settled down immediately and he gently wiped away a tear that slipped down her cheek.

"It's alright. Everything's alright." And he smiled.
