The Real Me

I was born in 1976 in Kentucky. I moved to Sunshine State (Florida, for the uninitiated) in 2000 for a whopping six months, then back to Kentucky where I was a law enforcement officer. Knee injuries forced me out and I moved back to Florida to appease my second wife who was born there. It grew on me and I really enjoyed my time there working for a local sheriff's office communications center in the training & recruiting department. I also volunteered with my local police department. As most things do, however, that particular good thing came to an end and I was forced to return to Kentucky. It's rough, I really enjoyed Florida and didn't want to come back, but they say things happen for a reason. After working at a dispatch agency in a small town, I've since moved to a large university in central Kentucky and have been promoted to Communications Supervisor. I like it. I think I'll stay.

I have been writing Trek since 1999. My wife and I ran a SIM fleet from 2001 until its demise in 2005. We wrote in a few independent games for a while and then tried to resurrect our fleet in 2008. Sadly, it only lasted a little over a year. So, I went into Trek writing withdrawals and had to find a good game to get back into. It's been almost four years since SB900 opened and I've thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. And to boot, I've been writing with some of the writers on 900 for almost 13 years! It's great to be able to find people you enjoy writing with for so long.  :)
