The infiltration was a much bigger success than initially planned as Veist fell in love with the operative, now named Leto, and presented her with an arrow, the Archadian ceremonial equivalent of proposing marriage. Leto, who had gone on the mission hypnotized into thinking she was an Archadian named Imara, and with no former knowledge of herself as Leto, became Veist's mate. This angered the PM who sent one of her cohorts to neutralize both Veist and Leto/Imara. The guard failed and was killed by Veist who absconded with Leto/Imara in a personal shuttle. | ||
