Densely populated stellar region of [[The Round Table]].  Home to the Ly'bven'tho Field, the [[Perenalthorias Union of Commonwealths]], its constituent planets, and a wide variety of other worlds and minor and major powers.  With the Star Desert its close neighbor on its "southern" border, the Jathlin Arm and the Star Desert see some overlap of political and economic spheres of influence.  Fear, for instance, of the brutal [[Skareen]] lasts even today among [[Perenalthorias Union]] member states... particularly those with long enough memories to remember fighting wars against them.
