View Award - Humanitarian Service Medal - IC
The Humanitarian Service Medal is awarded to members of Starfleet who distinguish themselves by meritorious direct participation in any significant Starfleet act or operation of a humanitarian nature approved by the Federation. It also includes cadets at Starfleet Academy. Service members must have directly participated in the humanitarian act or operation within the designated geographical area of operation and within specified time limits. Specifically excluded from eligibility for this medal are personnel or elements remaining at geographically separated military headquarters.

The Humanitarian Service Medal is awarded to Commander Sakkath for his involvement in lifesaving efforts of Cadet Chance Conradi. Without the Commander's inherent special skills the life of Cadet Conradi would have been lost. Despite the critical missions going on around the Commander at the time, he trusted his staff and crew to tend to those items while he took time out of his busy schedule to help resurrect the Cadet. |
