Anaar approached the doors to Rine's quarters, a smile on her face. This whole mess was about done and for that she was glad. Afer Saturnalia, she had returned to her own quarters to gather what she would need and to check messages. There was just one containing her final target and informing her that Nico was in isolation in the psych wing. That last bit pleased Anaar greatly and she laughed out loud. It seemed her and Rine's efforts had been successful. Now blonde, she stopped at Piper Medical's main counter to inquire as to his condition. The young woman there had given her a harried look and said that he was doing fine now. Now? Anaar wondered what had happened when her flowers were delivered, but she could guess. That thought too brought a laugh, once she was out of Piper.

She donned the gloves she'd brought and entered Rine's room, locking the door behind her. The man was sprawled just a few feet away. Apparently he'd only barely made it in before the poison took effect. Stepping over his legs, she reached into her bag, grabbed his glass form Saturnalia and dropped it just out of reach of his still hand. Next, she wadded up she shirt she'd worn during Jim's attack, which was marked with several spots of his blood for forensics to find, and stuffed it under his mattress. The trick was to make it look as if Rine really wanted to hide it and not make it too easy. She knew that Security would toss these quarters top to bottom and they would find it.

The next item was a bit trickier - the blade. She looked around the room as she debated. Given that she intended to leave his confession, the question of the blade was suddenly easy. She pulled out a piece of paper with an erratic handwriting covering the front. It was Rine's confession to the attack on one James Holbridge, done under orders but not saying whose orders. It closed with a hysterical claim that he couldn't live with himself and had ended it. Anaar then placed the note on the small table and pinned it to the table with the bloody knife.

A last look told her that the stage was set and she departed. One thing stood between her and her vacation on Pacifica and it was this last loose end she now went to find.
