Who's The Boss?

Life was looking pretty damned good in Suresh's opinion. He buttoned his shirt, then ran his fingers through his long, dark hair. The high from Isha was lasting longer than usual. She'd given him a hell of a charge this last time and he wasn't complaining. He wasn't looking forward to the come down from this one, and debated calling her, convincing her to juice him up again before he crashed. She normally refused such requests.

Maybe this time would be different. He'd convince her somehow. If he was honest, he wanted more. More of what she did for him, more of her. In fact, he wanted all of her. He craved her touch, wanted to see her writhe beneath him utterly uncontrolled, begging him for more. And he was going to get it. But he'd have to be careful. The last thing he needed was for her to cut him off altogether. She belonged to him, he couldn't be without her.

For now, however, he had business to see to. Much to his amazement, and despite their apparent lack of brain cells, his two men had managed to do what he had ordered - 'acquire' the Chief of Security. She was now secured one deck up and was going to be worth a small fortune on delivery. Before he shipped her out, however, he intended to have a little visit with her. His hair arranged to his satisfaction, he stepped towards the door, then turned back. Reaching out towards the mirror, he touched a computer-printed image of his Isha, his dream. Lightly he brushed his finger over it, brought his fingertip to his lips, then strolled out.

Suresh stood before the door flanked by his two men, Frick and Frack. He had no idea what their real names were, he has simply given them these names based on an old Earth slang term. It suited them. They snapped to attention when he appeared, assuring him everything was fine.

"She finally stopped cursing us about a half hour ago," Frack informed him.

"Amazing. I've yet to stop cursing you two," Suresh replied. "Frick, you're with me. Frack, you will remain on guard out here in case we run into trouble inside." He nodded towards the door, and Frick keyed in the code to open it. The two men slipped inside and Frack locked the door behind them.

Immediately inside, they ran into trouble: trouble in the form of one very irate Security Chief. Her earlier cursing had been to mask what otherwise would have been clenched-jaw cries of pain as she struggled to bring her bound hands from behind her to in front of her. She'd succeeded, but at the expense of the skin around her wrists, and at the cost of worsening her broken wrist and the phaser burn on her side. Now, she launched an attack at the first through the door: Frick.

It was ill-advised and ended with Frick, a new goose egg growing on his temple, grabbing her hair and forcing her face down on the bare bunk. "Dammit, woman! Behave," he growled at her.

"This is my good behavior," she shot back and tried to kick him.

"Fiesty," Suresh commented. He stood near the door, watching as Frick held her down. "This is why she's got three bidders already. Tell me, sweetheart, do you always show this much spirit?"

Elbowing Frick in the chest, Oralia twisted to look at the speaker. Three bidders? A chill went through her; she doubted she'd be bought and put to work in a mine shaft somewhere. "For the likes of you? Always," she said just before reaching down and biting Frick's hand where he held her arm.

"Bitch!" Frick shouted and yanked his hand away. Hissing with pain, he warned her, "One more, and I'll have the doctor come and sedate you!" He twisted her hair around his fist and hauled her up by it, pulling her back to make her arch awkwardly outward and face Suresh.

Deciding that being awake in this situation was by far more preferable to being sedated in this situation, Oralia shifted and tried to keep her balance. "Go on, Suresh, gloat. I promise to return the favor when you're in my Brig."

"We'll see about that." He smiled for a moment and Frick shivered slightly. "That will be hard to do if you're gone. My pilot has already been notified, you'll be out of here and out of my... hair soon enough. Cover her mouth," he ordered Frick.

"Hey, she bites!" He looked less than thrilled about the idea.

"So? I'll do far worse if you don't."

Frick grumbled and clamped a hand over her mouth.

True to Frick's grumbling, Oralia sunk her teeth into his palm. Having no idea what Suresh was up to, she watched him warily. Frick, for his part, pulled harder on her hair.

The tension on her hair tilted her head back and Suresh ran a finger lightly along her throat. "A shame these two men took you away from your home and your job. But don't you worry, Oz, I'm going to see that you get out of here." His tone was almost a purr now.

Frick's positioning turned into a bonus to Oz: she unexpectedly shifted her weight back and kicked Suresh right where it counted. She also twisted and landed an elbow against Frick's cheek. Frick released her and fell back. As he scrambled forward to grab her, she kicked Suresh again.

"Restrain her!" He managed to form actual words, despite the shallow, rapid breathing. "And when you do, cut off her hair. Then bring it to me."

Frick tackled Oralia and wrapped his hands around her neck, closing off the blood supply to her brain. Soon as she passed out, he stopped and, using his new favorite Federation tool - zip ties, restrained her again. Breathing hard, he paused to catch his breath and asked, "Cut her hair? How short, Boss?"

"Buzz it. I consider it a fair repayment for possible damages inflicted on me. Be careful." Suresh turned, resting a hand against the wall as he tried to get his breathing under control. He still was not standing completely upright. "I'll see you when you are done."

Frick nodded and grinned, "All right. I'll have Frack deliver it."

"Good." He managed to take a deep breath, then after a knock on the door, he stepped gingerly through it when it was opened by Frack.

"Hey boss, you okay?" he asked anxiously.

"Just dandy, if you like having your nuts cracked, you imbecile. Lock this door. Frick will be sending you with a delivery soon." Without another word, he hobbled off to call Lazan.
