Mission Summary
Concern sweeps over SB900 as an unexpected message comes through subspace channels:
"The Divitian Republic sends her regards".
Once emerging power of the Jathlin Arm and one of the youngest and most powerful Nation-States to have entered Perenalthorias Union (gaining Veto power more quickly than any other member of the Union) the Divitian Republic has recently suffered a catastrophe of apocalictyc proportion that has put the nation to her knees.
All of the former 'friends and allies' of the Union have abandoned them to their doom. Seemingly quite content to stay idle and watch the agony of the military and economic giant.
Now a delegation led by shrewd Divitian diplomat Zee'hrai is on its way to SB900 to conduct 'formal negotiates'.
No one is fooled though, behind the thin faade of pride and dignity a desperate plea for help is lying.
Starbase 900 would be the natural Headquarter for any Federation plan to deal with the Divitian Crisis. Administration, logistics, evacuation... And now the eyes of the Union turn to Federation what they will do?
Even now the High Merchants of the Jathlin Trading Group are hindering commercial relations with Federation using preposterous excuses that grow in number and intensity as the Divitian delegation nears SB900 and rumors of less gentle solutions fill up reports ending on INTEL desks of the base as relations with other Union Diplomat begin to strain.
An incident occurring to the Divitian diplomat while on 'Federation territory' would have a great political reverberation in the Arm helping the Union plans and putting Federation in a severe disadvantage in future diplomatic relations with jathilin Arm denizens.
Are covert agents already infiltrated on the Starbase, ready to bring ruin on our heroes?
